    That is so right about protein…. I'm so insulin resistant, that I believe , my body turns all proteins into glucose… Because I feel woozy from meat the same way I feel from eating something sweet…. Before I found out about protein turning into glucose, I couldn't understand why I felt like that… For 20 years I ate meat very little and only three times a week, because I have rheumatoid arthritis, and meat is to acidic for me…. But four years ago I figured out that I'm losing muscle rapidly…. I started to eat more protein( not just meat, also plant-based protein shakes), and muscle have returned to my body. But I started to hurt really badly every day,… And from sheer desperation I started to research different way of living, because my 20 year diet stopped working for me as I aged. And that's how I found out about Keto( of which even a year ago I made fun off)… Now since June I'm in haven… I did lose weight, which I couldn't lose before at all. But it's not about weight with me, it's about being able to take care of myself without anyone's help… Because I was hurting so bad, that I couldn't take my daily walks anymore and was thinking about a wheelchair…. But now I walk straight, look taller, and except of occasional ache, I'm hurt free… Only four month… For me it's a mirrical…. I did lose 30lb, but mostly from inside of me… I feel so light and empty inside now… It's a similar feeling I had when i delivered my babies( 6 of them, I should know the feeling, shouldn't I? LOL…)… I so agree about all the food at the beginning…. I make a treat for myself once a week, I find a recipe ( Keto ) that I like and crave, and make that meal… And Lord and behold, it satisfies me completely for the whole week…. And then I go for dry fast three times a week and intermittent fast for three times a week…. I eat around 2000 cal., per day in 6 hours window, this really works for me… With my insulin resistance I was stalled of losing weight for three weeks, even gained some weight the first week…. But I was determent to keep doing what I was doing, because I knew that I did everything right, it was just my body rebelling. And it paid off, I started to lose weight two days ago again… Even though weight lose had stalled for me, at the same time I felt wonderful… What can person need more? I'm 61 years old and really determent lady… As I always were… At 40 I needed a wheelchair, and in one year I proved that with right food, person can ditch a wheelchair( I also ditched all medication, aka painkillers). God Bless…

    Thanks Ginger for this awesome video! What would you suggest in case of problems with the Pancreas (and Gallbladder) in digesting fat? My Pancreas wasn't in optimum state pre-Keto. I'm hoping that all the digestive enzymes I'm taking will help my poor Pancreas!
